WABADABADOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

After 4 touches in a row and no email, we actually had been approved on 10/05 after 153 days since filing (NOA1 from CSC, filed directly, on 05/29). I just found that out in opening my snail mail tonight coming back from work.

I am happy to leave this forum (actively at least) and heading to the NVC one...

Good luck everybody.

Hey! Charles and Karina were approved today (filed 05-18) good.gif kicking.gif Thatīs great! Congratulations biggrin.gif
So maybe they arenīt having a day off after all...or how else is that possible? Anyway, my crazy hopes and suggestions are: the rest of May filers should get approved this week, June filers the next week and since there are less June filers then the week after they should start July filers biggrin.gif good.gif

I'd be jealous they got approved in a week and it took us all 4 months! but just cause we suffered doesn't mean they have too!!!! (although in reality they have been waiting a while as well) there is always wishfull thinkin!!!! but for sure all us May Filers this week!!!!!!!

I'm thinking of calling today----Did you call and use the so-called RFE trick? or what?
Still no touch, no NOA1, no NOTHING-----I am very encouraged to see that they are working on applications submitted on the 24th-----Gosh----that's us!!!! The ever patient Alane and Ramzis.

Alane and Ramzis,

Thats exactly what I used, the RFE trick and was extremely polite with the lady that picked up the phone. Asked her how she was doing etc. I told her that my friend was a lawyer and advised me that if my cased hadn't been looked at in this amount of time I had an RFE, and I was curious what that was so I could prepare the documents. And any help would be great! and after a few minutes and a few holds she told me that they were workin on cases for the 24th of May! BUT dont let this get your hopes up because someone else on VJ was told they were working on cases submitted on a different date so i think this can still vary from 3 to 5 days or so!

good luck with the RFE trick and please post what info (if any) you may get!!!!!! thanks! good.gif

I called today and tried that RFE trick and got a very polite lady on the phone at CSC. She pulled up my file and said that they were still working on March and to give mine 3 more months.... crying.gif . I asked if it would be approved sooner and she said maybe that they were working full staff to try to catch up due to the loads of filers they got before the fees went up. I figured all she looked at was what we can see on the USCIS site because she repeated everything we all know. On a good note she said she didn't see any RFE's on my file...I told her that was wonderful considering I haven't been touched since they sent me my NOA1. Ohhhhhhhhhh Lord give me strength and patience!! wacko.gif
Masha2008
yeah!! more approves!! makes me so happy. It seems that H1B visa process has been completed, so more and more I-129F have been approved.

Yeah it's strange. I noticed that the date received is the day to count from. NOT the NOA1. It takes between 140 and 150 days from the day they received it appears. We were in 142.

Thanks for the congrats. Everyone else has to be getting close. Get on the edge of your seat when you hit that 140 day mark since mailing it. Until then try not to stress.

There is already one new one. Am & Per updated their timeline today. They were approved on 10/10.

They sent their petition to Texas on 5/21. That makes two petitions from 5/21 approved so far this week.

17 CSC/NSC/TSC approvals this weeks so far. 16 K1's & 1 K3. Average processing time for the approved K1's from sent date to NOA2 is 150 days. The K3 took 146 days.

I don't put much weight in the VJ adjudication date. I think it is all messed up cause alot of people
did not put the right NOA1 date.

VJ is currently adding 158 days to CSC sent dates to get a projected adjudication date. Recent approvals have taken less than 158 days so if CSC keeps up the pace projected adjudication dates should begin improving.

Any petitions approved on Oct 10 and sent after May 5 will have a processing time of less than 158 days.

Things are looking more positive at CSC today. Let's hope the trend continues. smile.gif

VJ does not utilize NOA1 dates to make the adjudication projection. The projected adjudication date (PAD) is based on the date that the petition was sent.

To test this, change your NOA1 date and then look at your PAD. It will remain the same. Change your sent date and the PAD will change also.

Masha2008
Well, VJ estimates time based on sending date instead of date of NOA1. I think that is not very accurate because some people sent their packages, but USCIS did process them more than a week later. I send mine on 27th of July and received on 28th, but the website said they opened our package and processed it on 6th of August and cashed our check. I know some folks sent their packages and transfered to CSC.

what do you mean? surely this way is BETTER for them, because it reflects both the true date of lodging the petition, and the date that the service centre will recognise...? if the PAD was estimated using their NOA1 date, it would be massively inaccurate
