Just to add i've been over to see my SO a few times since the K1. As i took my son with me who is in his father's name the first question that totally threw me was '' where's his father?'' ha! first thing that came into my head was ''he's probably down the pub or doing his girlfriend''. it was a shock reaction.
I now work for American Airlines so i'll be going over again next week for training. It's not where my baby lives and there's a group of us going so hopefully once again i'll have no problem.

One last thing..................why haven't i been touched?

As of right now the following NOA1's are still open, and within the official processing times:

August - 10
September - 13
October - 52
November - 43
December - 48 (excludes two duplicates)
January - 43 (excludes one duplicate)
February - 46

They are almost through August and September - and I hope they don't forget those that have fallen out of the processing window. By just averaging three approvals per day these filers could be cleared up in only three months. Gives one hope. Of course, if you ask me how I feel in three months, you might get a different answer.

Still nothing (we have been assigned an officer on Fenruary 20th) since our call on Monday and I am getting stressed again - get back from 14 hour working day and nought!!!

Anyway, do you think if the beneficiary has kids it adds a bit of time and/or complications? Anyone else here in the same boat? I mean, unless the kids have been leading secret double lives they will clear any name checks ... but I was just curious!!!!

I don't think it causes any issues. As I said before, the box containing your petition is probably being processed as we speak so all depends where within that box your petition lies. You and your SO shouldn't have any problems being approved, it's just a matter of time. Hang in there and stay positive. You've been plenty positive over the last few months for the rest of us. It's coming!

Oh, on a side note, I just recently discovered your numbers thread and have to say it's a stroke of genius. I am now hooked on it. I bet ewok hates it (file space and all that) but it's turning out to be an interesting historical record of time. Love it!

OMG!!! I used Tbones RFE approach and it worked!!!!

We were approved today! I even got a personal call from the immigration officer that answered my call on monday!!! HOW CRAZY IS THAT!!!!

7 weeks is *way* too long. It should take less than 2 weeks at the most. Mine took a week. Have him re-order them.

Haha yeah - I'm back - very tired as haven't slept in over 24 hours - didn't even manage to get any sleep on the plane(s) and am sifting through the 260+ e-mails I got and didn't check while I was away!!! Have had nice bath and made myself a cup of sleepytime tea as am feeling weirdly ansy and am waiting for Jeremy to show...

He has called the automated system twice now to request the tax returns so he *should* have two lots on the way... still nothing though - boo!!
