Him and his OH didn't make it. They had been struggling with her going out and becoming more aloof and getting on with her life and it worried him. Eventually they just didn't make it because of the long-windedness of the process... He said that he does still love her and that he hopes they can be friends and that who knows, in time things might change but for right now they are no longer together

According to the lady I spoke with from USCIS- My application was approved today. However, there is no e-mail and the USCIS doesn't show anything yet. She said that I will see something soon.

Pleasantly yet persistently insist on speaking with an immigration officer. If the customer-disservice person objects, say, "You are required to transfer me to an immigration officer when I thus request." Repeat as necessary, and do not accept any objections. Get the customer-disservice person's name and ID number, which should compel some cooperation.

I got it. Well, not the notification from the USCIS - but even better - a letter from the State Department's National Visa Center!

Congratulations!! I never got an email..just got a touch on 10/17 (from a phone call), a touch on Thurs. 10/18 (date on the NOA2) and got the NOA2 in the mail on Mon. 10/22. They didn't update the website until 11/1, so don't worry about an email/update, just look in your mail box!

You know the date you were approved? I can add you to the spreadsheet Also means you don't have to worry about being apart for much longer so that worry about your OH coming out in March might change to him moving for good in April

I did the "RFE TRICK": Call the USCIS #800-375-5283. Press the following #'s in the following order: 1, 2, 2, 4, 2, 1, case #, 1, 1
(If your case number starts WAC you need to press 922 which corresponds to the letters WAC)
There are only certain hours the "RFE TRICK" will work, I am guessing 9-5 eastern.

Well done to you all - let's hope this week is an even better one for CSC - that's 71 for 2008.

So 2 CSC approvals, it's only Monday, and the night is young. Oh and one of the approvals is from early July. It's always good to see the last of the July filers taken care of. Shaping up to be a good week at CSC.
