I am in the step to send my I-864 form to NVC for I-130 . Some says that we dont have to send in the Federal Tax release authorization form anymore!
Is this true?
When you guys get the I-864 package from NVC, did they sent you one to fill it out and dend this authorization form for tax release?

Correct, no federal tax release authorization necessary. They do not actually send you any forms; they only point to a website where you can download forms, http://Travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1335.html . (In my case, the web address given in the letter was actually slightly wrong: the "l" in "html" was missing.)
