Im wondering if the I-130 is also subject to administrative processing from the embassy that it is sent to? My papers were approved and Completed on March 12 of this year and I am waiting for an intervew date to be sechuled from the NVC office......With the papers already being approved and completed is it still possible to have to go through an administrative processing after reaching the Lagos embassy in Nigeria??????

From some of the posts I have read, you can be placed on AP by the embassy if they don't believe the relationship is genuine when your fiance interviews. Who has approved you, USCIS or NVC? Depending on the agency, you need to place some phone calls. Have you tried calling NVC to see if they sent your paperwork to Lagos. My K-1 visa interview was given by Lagos not NVC. Maybe it's different for K-3. If you received an approval from NVC you can call them to track it. We never received one paper from Lagos. I found out the interview date and everything by calling NVC. There computer is somehow linked to the Lagos system. So, they can see what's going on. March is a long time for you not to receive anything. After my initial approval from USCIS, it only took 2 weeks for my approval from NVC. I was out of the CA office. It then took 3 weeks for Lagos to open it. Once again, I found out all this info. by calling NVC. Please fill out a timeline. Let me know if I can help you with anything else.
