Hey guys, I hope you are all doing well today.

So today my 485 was touched. I was sent an RFE in July and they notified me today that the document they requested reached USCIS yesterday. I was just wondering if any of you had an experience where you filed a I-130/I-765/I-131 and an I-485 concurrently but it seemed as though your 485 was the only petition being processed or looked at? I assumed that USCIS would be approving and looking at the I-130 before they went on to the 485. But it seems as though that petition hasn't been touched in 6 weeks.

Any ways, they message states that I will hopefully be notified within 60 days of a decision (or interview date...). I guess this is good news? I guess I should be happy they have got my document and now can proceed with processing the application. But its starting to look like I might get the green card interview before I even get my EAD or AP.

My other things have not been touched either, but today I had this email from them. Seems as the same as yours

The last processing action taken on your case Receipt Number: MSC********** Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed. On August 2, 2007, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

Me too. I filed my application 2 weeks after you but I filed my AP so I could hopefully travel in the beginning of September. You never know what is going to happen but it doesn't look like the EAD or AP is going to get processed very soon! haha

i didn't get touches on my EAD at all really.. nothing except when i changed my address.. other than that.. i got touches the week it was processed- and then it was all over but the crying.

I just think the rest of the forms don't take as long to process.. think of the wad of evidence that goes with the 485 - almost nothing goes with the EAD. just a thought there. smile.gif

You might want to post this in the AOS forum. Not a lot of us Canucks here did an AOS from visitor status.

Oh yeah. My EAD was only touched a couple of times - biometrics, change of address and then card production.
