hello everyone,

i was just bit inquisitive to ask - what they ask they might ask in jfk poe?
i mean the sealed brown envelope - passport , do they require marriage certifi etc ?
and do they normally take biometrics again before entering the us?

thanks in advance for all replies ,
mala

They look at the Visa, and take the brown envelope, they don't need to see the marriage cert, unless your 2nd marriage anniversary happens between getting the visa and entry to the USA, then the marriage cert is looked at to confirm this, if you are married 2 years before entry, you get the 10 year un-conditional green-card.

They do simple biometrics, take a picture, and fingerprints.

Fingerprints certainly, I don't remember having a photograph taken again. Mind that wasn't at JFK
