Guys I finally got the approval on my I-130 and I-129. I know that the I-130 will be retained here.....but whats the process for the k-3 from here to the interview. Can someone please explain it to me? thanks very much.

Have you taken a look at the K3 guide here on VJ? The guides are very helpful for understanding and preparing for the processes. Good luck good.gif

yeah i know about the guidelines but i rather have a perspective of someone who has been through the new delhi consulate.... for a better understanding.

well..
congratulations first on your approvals.
Now within a week or 2, your case will be sent to NVC and you will have your case number assigned.
It will stay at NVC for 3-4 days and then off to India.
Then you will receive Packet 3 from Delhi embassy.
Your spouse will fill out those forms and send it back.
Hopefullly quickly they will send you your appointment letter.

If you are lucky, hopefully your approved file wont stay at USCIS for looooong. In my case it took about 3 weeks b4 it was sent to NVC sad.gif
