Hi. I just wanted to give an update to people who helped me and gave me an adivce when I posted here about our petition being lost before.


I think we got a touch today! Our "last updated date" has been changed for the first time!

We filed our petition in February, but found out that it was lost and the USCIS didn't let us re-send because they wanted to find our petition. But they finally let us re-send our petition in April promising that they would "fast-track" it. But the person who had been talking to my fiance quit or got fired, so that "fast-track" deal was off.
We have patiently waited since then, and finally today, I am seeing an action taken on our case for the first time! I am so happy!!!

I just hope that this touch is not from us getting an RFE, though...

may i know where can i see the "last updated date" in the uscis website case checking?

Go to http://www.uscis.gov

and then click on Case Status and Processing Times

If you do not have an account, then open one and it should look like this




See the arrow? .... Bingo... that date changes and that means that they have "touched" your case.. small thing, but it is something.

Oh .. and you will need your case number to do that.. FYI...

It has been such a long journey since February...... I hope the rest of the process goes smooth.
