i filed for AOS in April and my interview is in Aug 8 but our second anniversary will be in the coming Nov so iam wondering the GC I will recive will be 2 years GC or 10 years GC since I heard if you have been married for 2 years they give 10 years GC?
Kez/JWolf
You will not have been married for 2 years at the time of the interview so you will get a 2 year greencard and will have to file to remove the conditions 90 days before the expiry of the greencard....

Too bad some who enter on a K-3 first file for EAD, and hold on AOS until closer to 2nd wedding anniversary and file it in a way that the interview gets scheduled after 2nd wedding anniversary, avoiding the conditional green-card.

i didn't file late because of that if I know that i would waited and file later so the interview would be after our second anniversary...Just to avoid dealing with papers again...

You want to get permanent resident status ASAP so you'll be eligible to apply for citizenship sooner.

Assuming you want to apply for citizenship, of course...
