Check the link offered up above. Unless things have changed, it's usually within 2 months.

Do you know if you actaully have to be working there or is the address good enough. I am planning on going there for 2 months but not working.

thanks

I'd say roughly about one or two months. I asked for a later date and they were also okay with that.

I got an Interview in 9 days after my package 3 was received. I got in very fast.

I was expecting a month.

I don't know if I understand you correctly. If you're living West of Winnipeg, your interview IS in Vancouver. If you're residing in the East, then your interview is not. It's in Montreal. If you have two months off, it's not like you can just go visit Vancouver, and walk in and have your interview there, or even let them know you're there and when can you schedule an interview...

Can you clarify please?

Thanks!

You should be able to transfer then. Contact Vancouver.

Not sure what the waiting time is but previously it was around one month from them receiving your checklist.
Carlawarla
Okay, thanks for that clarification! good.gif

I don't know where your visa is at yet, whether it's in Montreal or still at NVC though. Either way, please advise them of your new address now, and they'll transfer your case to Vancouver.

Best of Luck!

On their checklist they asked me when I wanted to have my interview, I answered in about 4 weeks, and they scheduled it exactly in 4 weeks from faxing them the checklist. I believe it could have been even earlier, but I needed at least 4 weeks to get the paperwork ready.
