Ok, I am confused. I filed for my AOS and EAD on June 18, 2007. I've recieved notice that my AOS has been transferred to California. However, I have not recived notice saying that my EAD has been transferred (meaning that it's still with the National Benefits Centre (NBC). BUT, when I check the EAD I-765 processing dates for the NBC, it states that they are "Based on a pending I-485 adjustment application [©(9)]" - what the heck does this mean ??

When you file for EAD with or after filing for AOS you use code (c )(9 ) NBC processes the EAD, CSC and/or your local office processes AOS.

It is normal for EAD to remain at NBC, EAD is and interim BENEFIT hence National BENEFIT Center, (NBC)
