I would like share with you guys my approach and would like to get your feedback. I am not sure how safe is it to use James shortcut, and specially when it comes to generating your own bar codes, therefore I though about using a combination of james shortcut and some other thoughts taken from this great forum. The NVC has received my case on the 23th of this month and the case number has been already generated, thus, I am expecting to receive the first forms soon. Here are the steps I am intending to perform:
- Emailed DS3032 and D230 forms to my wife (the beneficiary)
- Wife completes and signs the forms, attaches all the other required documents and mails them back to me.
- Once received the first package from NVC, I will go ahead and mail DS3032, along with I-864 fee payment.
- Alternatively, I am thinking about emailing the NVC with the choice of agent once it is generated. (I am not sure whether this method still work today or not)
- Prepare I-864 form and documents.
- Once I-864 package is generated and received, mail it back to NVC
- Receive and pay the IV fee.
- Receive and mail back the DS 230 package.

This is actually the approach I am intending to follow. Please let me know if this a right procedure, or there is a better alternative which may speed up the process even more. Your feedback is much appreciated!

Hi,

Yeah, thats good approach but I am not sure how (sabir) I mean how much patience you have. by doing so it will take little bit more weeks. You can definatly email DS-3032 to NVC. That cut a huge time. Adv: if you do not know what you are doing with james shortcuts. Please follow the real NVC proccess another wise it will cause a huge delay. Hope that will help you.

From what I understand your approach is exactly the NVC approach, of course you should prepare everything in advance so that you can mail it back to NVC as soon as requested. You'll be fine, if you are not sure no need to risk. Personally I did e-mail my choice of agent as soon as generated and paid the fee too following JSC. I'm not so sure about the I-864... you'll be fine!

Good luck
