I saw this on another forum and thought it was sweet so I decided to post it here. Do you and your SO have a favorite song? Our song is Mary J. Blige's I found My Everything. That's going to be our first dance at our wedding. Our second song is Tuface Idibia's African Queen. He used to sing this to me before I ever went to Nigeria. He told me that I was his Queen. Actually, that's what he calls me (in front everyone) .Once I got to Nigeria and heard the real version(lol), I fell in love with it even more. He's so sweet.

We also have two...Tuface's African Queen. He told me about it a long time ago and let me hear it on myspace. When I went to Liberia, I heard it on the radio and then he programmed both of our phones with the ringtone. Our second song is Akon's Don't Matter. We both felt like that song described our situation and we fell completely in love with it. We would even sing it to each other in emails and phone calls.

I love John Legends song "SO HIGH"....and I made a CD and sent it to Charles and he liked it alot also.....I told him everytime I heard that song...I could not help but think of him. It is such a beautiful song. Also "Can't Let Go" by Anthony Hamilton...this song helped me get thru alot negativity that distance can cause and also help deal w/ the negativity from people.

We had 2 weddings one here and one in naija. our songs were My love sweet love by Patti Labelle from waiting to exhale soundtrack and Whenever you call by Mariah Carey and Brian Mc night. I get so emotional when I hear those tewo songs. We also love 2face African Queen anything by Akon and Sean Paul!

My husband writes songs and the one I love to hear him sing to me is "You Are The Love of My Life" and the one we both love is by another artist and I melt in my heart everytime I hear it and it's "Give You More" by J. Moss. We absolutely love this song.

You're my Inspiration by Chicago. Everytime I hear this song it makes me miss him more. He calls it "our song".
Also, Right here waiting by Richard Marx, this song came on the Radio when I was in Africa and we just looked at each other and smiled.
