Hey guys,

I'm pretty sure this is ok, but I just wanted to check. Just sent all the papers for my wife's AOS application and we want to fly from NY to FL in August for vacation. She has her Canadian passport and is here legally, etc. Is this going to be a problem?

Travelling within the US doesn't require a passport (though I would take it with me)...a DL or State ID is fine.
Pay attention to what name you book the tickets in...they need to match the ID you intend to use.

Yes there is no problem traveling within the USA for people pending AOS smile.gif

Yea I plan on booking her ticket with her old name since the only proof her new name is our marriage license. Makes life easier.

I didnt think there would be a problem, but I've been wrong before.

Yes, if she doesn't have any ID in her new married name, use her passport and the ticket in her maiden name.
I'd suggest though to try for a DL or state ID in her married name soon....

What sort of ID does she need to get a state ID? She is not a citizen yet or anything, all of her paperwork is still processing and very new (we sent it out days ago)
