I sent my I-751 on June 29th and it was received july 2nd and until now the check hasn't even been cashed.
Should I be concerned?

I called the USCIS 1800 number today to follow up on why my check hasn't been cashed and no NOA has been issued, I was told by an immigration officer that there is a chance it was lost, and she recommended that I wait a little bit and then resend out an entirely new package, and include a cover letter where I explain its the 2nd application I send..
I feel uncomfortable about sending another I-751 application, ESPECIALLY WITH THE INCREASED FEES!What would you guys do??
Thank you

The 0800 mis-info line is at it again.....

USCIS published a report about delayed NOA1.... see this link. http://www.uscis.gov/files/pressrelease/Re...Times080307.pdf

So according to that release and servicing date grid, I-751 for VSC should have received NOA's if they were received prior to July 27, 2007, which would mean the OP should, in fact, be worried and resubmit, as they told him since he's been waiting since JUNE....

he should infact make an infopass appointment at his local office to find out if they ever received the packet... I guess he did not send it with receipt requested....

I would do the infopass before sending out a new packet...

I actually did send it with confirmation receipt, it was stamped as received on 07/02/2007,
I contacted my local congresswoman's office, and they told me they would inquire on my behalf, so thats my next step, screw me if i give uscis another penny, they lost it not me..
I know this attitude won't get me very far, but believe me im not as bitter as the immigration officer i spoke to over the phone..
I already have an info pass appointment for the 15th, but I doubt there will be any new info there..
In the mean time, patience will be my friend
Thank you for your responses all...

Well if you got the conformation they it cant have gone missing in the mail... so there is no way I would be sending in another packet and paying the increased fees.... lets hope your congresswoman's office can be of help... and let us know what they say at infopass...

Good Luck

Just a follow up..
I did a congressional inquiry today through my congress woman's office.
I had to sign some release of info forms, and they said I should hear back within three weeks.
In the mean time, info pass is on the 15th, I will keep you all posted.
