hmmmmm 2am ... can only mean it is Friday!

any big plans for the weekend? I think I will clean. I did the craziest thing today...I move the dining room to the living room, and then I put the living room in the dining room.

I spent the night at work. No, I was not working:) I worked til midnight then I saw the opening movie time at midnight for The Simpsons. Great movie! Then I went back to work because there was no public transportation running at 2AM here in Boston:( Work was around the corner so I hung out with my coworkers all night. Now I'm home trying to make myself tired for a busy day today.

First day back at work for me since surgery going to miss being able to be online with my baby when he was home, but money doesnt grow on trees as my grandma says lol. Everyone have a great Friday!!!

No plans other than working on Sat. Oh Oh OH...I need to mail my AOS/EAD today. Saving tons of money if mailed before the 30th!!!!

I usually get good news on Fridays, especially lately. Already talked to my fiance while driving to work, he was busy but we'll probably talk more later

So jackie-- how do you like the arrangement? I never bought a table after my divorce.. I have one, but I just put it outside. It was originally a garden table that I mosaiced with shells anyway. Instead I have the chaise lounge in my diningroom.

This weekend I have no plans at all. I switched with people at work so I'm going in on Sunday.

Good morning everyone! I'm so glad today is Friday. This week has really sucked!

We were supposed to close escrow on our house yesterday, but thanks to the incompetency that is Bank of America, we weren't able to do so (don't even get me started on how awful yesterday was). We're supposed to try again this afternoon, but BOA still has not sent all of the info to the closing attorney, so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed. We've already ordered the moving van, Lowe's is scheduled to deliver the fridge, we've turned on the water and electricity in the new place and scheduled it to be cut off at the old place, etc. If we have to wait until Monday, I think I'll keel over from stress.

Whew. In any event, other than that chaos, things are ok. Amed's going to get his ticket this weekend to go to Algeria in October. He's so excited about it, and especially tickled that he gets to be there during Eid. I wish I could go with him, but we both can't afford to go right now.

Goodmorning everyone! My hubby woke me up with a text ( just wanted to be the first to say I LOVE YOU) awwww he is so sweet. I put highlites in my hair last night and it was so hot that the stuff melted thru the cap So now i have another cap on trying to fix it befor work And i hope my hair turns out this time or i will be going to work looking wierd Hope every one has a great friday

We're moving tonight and tomorrow! We decided to have our new condo painted before we move in and the painters are supposed to be done sometime this morning. Normally I would paint myself, but I decided I'm too lazy to do it this time and I've seen my hubby paint and no way will he do it. The computer is the last thing I need to pack up and all my friends will be here at 6:00 tonight so we can begin the move. I have to go the condo around noon so our new dinette and bedroom set can be delivered We're so excited!

Do you like condo living? Do you get control of your yard? We're considering it if we move, but I have to be able to do my own yard!

AGH!!!!! Today is a CRAP AZZ day at work. Everybody is in a BAD mood. I'm so glad it's Friday and I can get away from these people for a few day!!!!!!!

MH - I've gone through a couple of house closings and I the only thing worse than going through that is the whole immigration process! I wish you the best of luck and just hang in there. I promise that the moment you walk through the door with the key in your hand after the ink is dry....it makes it all go away!!!!

Dont know if this is a good thing but..... due to the crazy over night flooding and road closures in some parts of Houston our corprate office told us to stay home today. =0) I am "working from home" so we will still get paid for the day. The only problem is that I cant really do any thing because all my work that needs to be done is on my office computer.

I work really great when Im sleeping though weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I will go back to bed dream that Im doing all the work super fast. Then I will wake up have a snake and go back to bed and continue working hard. LOL Hope you ladies have a good one and stay dry and safe. For you Houstonians that are flooded in please take care of your selves. Last year my car literally floated off, thats how bad it got. It did not help that it was a very small car either. Sigh, I loved that very very old, funny looking, egg shapped, purple car. It was my first car ever, I called it my sloppy jolopy that got me by my Uni days.

I heard that storm come raging through early early this morning, but had no idea the weather was so bad out there. We have no problems at all! Houston is so funny. You can live in differnt parts of the city and it feels liek y ou are living in differnt states with the weather.

You know sometimes I really have a dyslexic attack and I remember once I typed "underware" which made this one person I know crack up.. she asked me if it was "All-Clad" or "Le Creuset."

The whole closing process has just been miserable so far. However, we're in the home stretch! I think we should be set to go forward today.

Grew up in Goose Creek and went to Stratford High School. Got some friends that still leave there that I got to see several times a year. Hicham loves it down there. If I were able to get as good as a job that I have now down there, we would move in a second! I miss it...okay, maybe not the sand in everything...but most everything else I miss.

This is actually my first condo. I have looked around for quite a while and wasn't sure I'd like the fees, etc. We actually got the whole condo so it's OURS and if we want to pay fees, it will only be $30.00 a month for lawn care, otherwise we can forgo the fees and do anything we want. I can do whatever I want to the yard....plant, landscaping, ect, because it's MINE! YAY!!! Now I have this crazy idea that I want a pool
