So, between the time when my wife 's(Ukrainian) green card expires in two years, and when we can file for citizenship in 3 years... Does she need another greencard?
I.e. when this thing expires (knowning we want citizenship) what should we do?

hi even though your wife is thinking of becoming a u.s. citzen she has to remove conditions and start that within the 90 day timeframe prior to expiration of her 2 year greencard..
i found this in the guides for removing conditions for you that might explain it better for you
If you fail to properly file the Form I-751 (Petition to Remove the Conditions on Residence) within the 90-day period before your second anniversary as a conditional resident, your conditional resident status will automatically be terminated and the USCIS will order removal proceedings against you. You will receive a notice from the USCIS telling you that you have failed to remove the conditions, and you will also receive a Notice to Appear at a hearing. At the hearing you may review and rebut the evidence against you. You are responsible for proving that you complied with the requirements (the USCIS is not responsible for proving that you did not comply with the requirements).
so first you have to remove conditions then apply for naturalisation...
hope that was some help kath

In summary, 90 days before her 2 year greencard expires she has to file to Remove Conditions so she can get her 10 yeard card. Then a year later she will have to apply for citizenship if she still wishes.

So, how much money do I have to drop for the 10 year Visa? And, is there another interview or just a form?

The cost of filing for Removal of Conditions will be $545.00 if you file after July 30th 2007... if you are filling before July 30th than it would be $275.00...
It is a bit more than just filling in a form.... you will need to gather the required evidence to show you have a continuing marriage....
Yep, you have to pay twice. Once to remove conditions and a year later for citizenship. It sucks.

There's the chance of another interview, but if you submit reasonable amounts of the required evidence, an interview is unlikely. Go over to the removal of conditions forum, read the stickies, and watch the posts for people's experiences.
Start gathering evidence now, and whatever you do, DON'T forget to file that I-751 well before the two year Green Card expires.
