I was just looking at the copy of my I134 which I already sent to my wife. But now I have a second thought abt what I put in question # 8, "the following persons are dependent upon me for supprt..."

at that time, I put in my wife's name and checked wholly depe. box.

basically, do I interpret this question as if it is asking that are there other people in US currently who are dependent on me..??

basically did I screw up..?? by putting my wife's name in question #8..?? pls pls help

Your wife is not counted in part 8 due to the fact the I-134 is to show you will be supporting her after she arrives, section 8 is for any dependents already in the USA.

I suspect the consular officer will understand this slip-up and ignore it.

I think their is same question like that in forum I-864A (Household contract) You cant count same person twice your wife is getting sponsered so i am sure YuAndDan is right about it.
