I will be very thankful if someone answer this question. I filed I-130 for my wife to VSC in Sep 2006 as a LPR(Legal Permamnt Resident). Recived NOA1 on Oct 02. Then, I became a US Citizen in June 2007 and upgraded the petition. Recived a letter from Vermont on July 10 that they have upgraded the petition. As u know, USCIS Website is saying that they are processing cases from "DEC 17, 2006". How long do u think it will take before the approve it? Thanks for your help regards, kim

As an LPR you were lower on the list to receive a visa for your wife but as a citizen then your date should move up. As a naturalized citizen I don't know if you get the same priority as a regular citizen?
