Full Version: closing threads for space issues
Capn - Is there a reason you closed a 685 page thread for space issues, yet didn't close the 995 blue boxes one?

No, it's just weird.
because he mentioned in the other thread that things start to slow down when threads reach 1000 pages or so... I guess they just want to see if they can get 1000 pages or something... no big deal 
Just preventative to reduce load spikes on the server. No real magic number but as they get large they can cause potential spikes and server slow downs. The larger one is open until it hits 1000 pages per the request of a member.
