Has anyone ever heard of someone re-submitting the I-134? There was a question about me meeting the poverty guidelines, and I would like to know if this can be done, to prove that I am at the 125% over the poverty level? Much thanks if anyone knows.

Didn;t they say according to the one you submitted, you did not meet the guidleines and they suggested a co-sponsor? Well if yes, then submitting a new I-134 with updted information that does meet the consulate's requirements woul dbe what they need. You might want to pputa cover letter on it explaing the new submisiion an dhow it deos mee the requirements?

I couldn't find what I was looking for, but I agree with MBP that if they said your I-134 didn't meet then you HAVE to submit another one.

i Had to resubmit the I-134 due to the notary stamp that was all but I had to prove the income for 3 years which I had made 30- 40k a year for the last 3 so I was good. I hope this helps. I showed all of mine in income not any assests.

You know these I134 and I864 and the povery line income sometimes doesn't even make sense. Amman took my income but for the AOS, they said no and I make over what is mentioned on the poverty income at the USCIS site. So it sure is confusing. Someone told me to take the numbers listed at the USCIS and times it by 125%. I still came up wtih enough money for 3 in the household. tongue_ss.gif
