Anyone filing under NSC and if so whats the time looking like there? Thanks!

Hello Marcy,
I have applied in late Nov 2006,NOA date is 11/28/06...did biometrics in Dec 2006....still waiting...just to give you the timeline.

At the rate NSC is moving, if we get anything in November, I'll be happy.

Wow that is a long time. I though that this part of it would not take so long. Maybe with all this extra money the USCIS is going to get after the 30th July things may start moviong faster!!! At this rate i will be eligible for citizenship before i get a 10 yr greencard

We have the exact same dates for this round! Except I had to reschedule the original finger print appointment. At least NSC seem to be cosistent!!

We filed in January and moved to California in April, which generated another welcome-to-America letter. As far as I know the petition is still in Nebraska.

Here's our I-751 timeline:

December 27, 2006: packet and fee sent
January 4, 2007: received NOA
January 18: biometrics taken


4th year wedding anniversary August 15th, had hoped to celebrate with the arrival of his permanent green card as well, but we're still waiting... no word at all after biometrics

our time line below, but when I received my NOA 1 it stated that they forwarded by case to CSC whcih is good since it was so fast..

Biometrics was sometime at end of Feb or beginning of March, can't remember.
Got touched on 4/1/07 but I think that's because we sent in our change of address notice.
Haven't heard anything since.

Aug. 2, 2007 - application was sent back to me. ( using an old Form).
Aug. 2 , 2007 - mailed back the application package. ( got fillable forms from uscis site). This time to CSC as instructed.
Aug. 3, 2007 - rcvd. at CSC.
Aug. 23, 2007- rcvd. NOA1
Sept. 07, 2007-rcvd. Biometrics appointment for Sept. 21 ,2007.
Sept. 21, 2007-biometrics /done.
waiting for approval!

Another update Sept 28, 2007.

Received three emails today within four minutes of each other, letting me know the approval notice was sent. Just in case one or two of the emails gets lost I guess.

Why did you wait so long... you should have filed the N-400 as soon as your were eligible. 90 days before your 3-year anniversary.. July 2007. You may have been a citizen by now...

File the N-400. It will force the adjudication of the I-751.

I just noticed that I put that my NOA expired in July. It actually expired in Sep 07. I didn't know until about a month ago that I was eligible to apply for the N 400 and I was a bit concern about somehow cancelling my I-751. Now that I have read about it, I know that it is what I should do.

You got your transferred to CSC... we filed before you and ours are still waiting in NSC hell... Not the same thing and extremely frustrating...
