Every case is different. Touches mean nothing - some cases never see a touch before approval. If you are within the USCIS posted timeline for your petition type and service center, not much you can do except try to be patient (mine took 168 days).

I don't think anyone has gotten a 30 day approval from VSC in months. Alot of people have been waiting well over 90 days. There is a thread with really helpful lists that show where each member that has files stands in order of the NOA1 date.

Check it out:

Sadly, VSC is no longer super fast anymore. So all the CSCers can stop being jealous.

I agree VCS has slowed down and the average wait seems to be 2.5 to 3 months currently. However according to the Adjudictors Guide on the USCIS web site each application could take different times depending on the IBIS. Your petition goes through a security check on YOUR name and it can take time IF they see anything. Doesnt mean there IS something but if they question anything they will do a further check. These all take time. AND depending on how much information you sent in these Adjucicators have the undaunting task of sorting through it all to assure a legitimate and proper petition is being forwarded. It is at this stage that WE as the petitioners are investigated. Our petitions go through several stages at USCIS. Its at the Embassy level that our loved ones are then investigated. So patience....we are all in the same boat...and 83 days is average for waiting at this point with the backlog and with the other 2 centers now being forwarded to CSC and VSC. Trust me...I want a touch to....want to know we are moving...and we ARE...we just can't SEE it.

Good luck on your noa2 soon. I know the wait is hard.
