Hello all,

does anyone know the hours of operation of the Service Centers, in particular Vermont? I am specifically trying to find out if they are open on Saturdays.
I am mailing off my N-400 on friday -which is exatly 90 days prior my 3rd anniversary of permanent residency (can you believe my luck?? ) because of the new fees that go into effect on monday july 30th- and I am trying to decide whether to overnight the nevelope or not...if they are not even there on Saturdays I guess it would be a waste of money since they couldn't get the envelope until Monday morning when they open again.

And also..probably a stupid question...the date that counts for the new fees is the one on the envelope and not the one they actually receive the package right?

Just getting nervous I guess...

Your fee will be assessed according to the postmark on the envelope. Before 7/30, you pay the old fee, on or after 7/30 you pay the new fee. Don't bother with the overnight as no one signs for them on a Saturday.

Yeah, I thought so too but you know how it is when the time to file something gets closer and closer...anxiety makes you ask lots of dumb questions!
