Hey guys, can anyone give me a rough estimate as to when I should be getting something in the mail (Approval) now based on my Timeline for my I130... I am waiting on it to plan my trip to India.

Thanks

I wish I had an answer for you. I been wating for over a year. The good thing is that you at least got an RFE and that you are able to get things rolling on your case. All I can do is wait and be at the mercy of USCIS to when they are done with their background checks. In your case how ever, I have seen many people get approved soon after they return the RFE. Best wishes and may you get your approval soon.

Wow, I didn't know it could take that long. I am sorry to hear about your situation and hope that something comes thru soon for you.

not all cases are the same first of all this thing depend at what INS u send your papers but ! if u are working on a K-3 visa dont worry just be hopeful hope everything will goes will with ya ! about me i got so many mistakes on my past so i learned alot my k-3 (I-129F) took from me 200 days to approve it and my other I-130 still pending since 2004 check my timeline is this strange !!!

but this is rare just with certain people so dont worry and dont let anything push u down and good luck with ur journey !

Yeah but I hear in my situation (RFE) things can happen sooner. Just wondering how long it might take from the date they receive my RFE which was July 12th....

When it comes to K3 and CR1/IR1 visas, Vermont is very slow. The earliest I've seen has been about 6 months.

You think even in my situation it will take that long, because of the RFE I had recently. They received all the things they asked for as of July 12th. Now shouldn't it be quick after that? I am just wondering how long it might take after they receive the RFE. See my wife is pregnant and I am hoping that somehow she can come here by October... Fingers Crossed... whistling.gif

It's hard to say, every case is different. It's always good to prepare for the worse, if you get approved before the 6 months then great, if not, then you at least were prepared for it.

It is pretty common to get a decision within a few days of the service center receiving the additional evidence they requested but there is not way to know when or what that next step will be.
