Hi all,
I would like to start a thread for people processing their applications for Removal of Conditions (I-751) from the Texas Service Center.
I have a receipt date of February 28, 2007 and did my fingerprints a few months ago.
Problem is, my application wasn't even "touched," once I completed my fingerprints, and I am wondering whether this is normal.
Anyway, I have checked the processing dates on the USCIS website, but have heard people getting approvals with dates later than what is posted.
Anyone who can add to this thread - please post!
Thanks,
ven2lin

Hi,
I sent my application for Removal of Conditions (I-751) to TSC on 02/20/2007 and recivied(checks cashed) by them on 02/27/2007. Finshed my Bio-metric finger prints on 03/29/2007. My application was last touched on 03/31/2007.
Waiting on any changes....

I sent my I-751 in April of 2002, then had an interview in August of 2004...Almost three years nobody sent me anything, then a month ago I started to bombard officials to help me. Five years and four months since the receipt date-it seems like they just have approved my I-751.

Just make sure you take the names of the officers you deal with, especially if they are not nice. When writing to officials about a problem, make sure you mention their names-it helps to speed the process up. In my case, even Congressman didn`t get anywhere untill recently, but that interviewing officers (btw, he is a supervisor in that division) was playing a game because he didn`t have a ground to deny my case, but the worst he could do-make me waiting.

Thanks for all your responses, everyone.
So it seems many of us have applied in February (except for the poor individual whose application took an insanely long time!), and yet, none of us have been approved, received RFE's etc.
Let's hope all our applications get speedy approvals.
Be sure to post a note on VJ when they do!

my case was never touched after submitting my biometrics.
took 7.5 months to remove conditions ( as a w misinformation line worker explained, I was going through namecheck and fingerprint check, I guess because my husband worked in Iraq at the airbase for some time)

we sent my removal in january 7. 2007. They have the file recieved January 22, 2007. according to process times they are working on November 12, 2006 files. I can't believe it has take this long when they have all our info 10 times over, haha, not quite I guess but it sure seems like it. Any one else dealing with NSC?

We sent in the I-751 to TSC on April 4th, got NOA with that same date about three weeks later. Went in for biometrics on April 25, application was touched the next day. Since then, nothing.

applied May 5, had my biometrics June 4, and my file hasn't been touched since June 5. Based on dates and such, I won't start to get agitated until November.

I'll be sending letters soon. Damn representatives can do something useful every now and then. We're looking for Nani to travel home fairly soon and we need the bios done before she leaves. She'll be gone for three months - yeah it's a long time but then she hasn't been home in three and a half years and I will need to travel for work quite a bit towards the end of the year - Dublin, possibly London, Frankfurt, and maybe Amsterdam. Plus I am looking to head over to Ethiopia in the middle of her trip for a couple weeks to break up the separation a bit. I just hate having to schedule crap around this fcuking agency yet again...

Based on the processing times, it's going to take around 7-8 months for the card. The biometrics appointment is currently a crap shoot.

Based upon
this post, I-751s submitted to TSC after July 1 or so are now being transfered to CSC. So maybe that will have some effect (although now that I think about it, it probably won't since TSC still has to clear its backlog).
Since CSC is sending out card-approvals in as little as a month after receiving an I-751, this raises the specter of people who were lucky enough to send their I-751s to TSC in July being approved before the folks in this thread who sent them to TSC in February.
