If a housewife is eligible for filing N-400, what should she fill out for the Employment section of the form? Since she has been staying home taking care of kids in last five years. Can she just leave that section unfilled?

Also, since she does not have a job, could this cause any problem for the approval of her application.

Thanks!

All she needs to do is write "unemployed" for the employment section, there is nothing wrong with being a stay at home mom.

I am going to file for citizenship in 2 months. I was a housewife for 2.5l years because our family income allows me to do so. last year I started college again and I am still a student. This year I worked for 4 months but it was difficult to combine a full-time job with my college so I left the job. Is it going to be a problem when I file for citizenship? I filed taxes all the time with my spouse.
