There's a list of vaccinations somewhere.... I just can't remember where. Best shot is to try and gather your vaccination records. If that's not possible, you can get a titration test done (usually the doc that does the medical will refer you for this and the price of the medical will cover it). In Alberta, vaccinations ARE covered, don't know about Ontario.

Good luck, L.

Here it is. Click on your age group: http://www.panelphysicians.com/Pages/Immunizations.htm

In Ontario vaccinations are covered by OHIP as is antibody titre tests. But don't get the vaccinations AT the medical (I think they might charge you for that), get them from your family doctor before your medical and get documentation from them.

One annoying thing that I ran into was that I was previously vaccinated against measles and rubella (german measles) but at the time when I was a kid, they weren't doing mumps vaccinations. So I had to get the MMR because there is no separate mumps vaccine.

You can get yours done by a family doctor. If you don't have one, you can call the public health department and ask them where to get them because they are supposed to all be covered by provincial health care.

I didn't... just got my tetanus shot redone @ Bonnie Doon Capital Health Clinic in Edmonton (tetanus shot needs to be renewed every 10 years anyways) and then showed up for my medical. Dr. ordered titres test and as it turned out, I was ok.
