Let Me Explain
2 Index Fingerprints Were Taken by a Scanner as Shon mentioned, but the Full Set of Finger Prints Were Taken by ink And Paper.
a Pakistani man Took My Both Hanbds In his hands and Asked me to Little behind he Was holding my Fingers then put on ink then on paper, he Took many Sets on a Paper card.

Very good .. so you got everything done? What are you doing these days working/studying?
Here is my two cents for you.
Try to get as much information about the profession you have to pick once you will be here.
If you have time then do some crash computer courses (Microsoft Office)

ok.. very good.
when the FBI gets these prints because they are ink they have to be transposed to
digital format. I dont rember how long it takes but, it takes some time.
then its process in 24 hours. once cleared its placed on the TSA website.
but its listed as a number so there is no way of telling if its you. but the agencys know.

Salams - it has been a long time - Allahu Alim... I spoke to the CO and she told me that initially it was in-house processing in ISL b/c my fiance had visited several other countries (not US) in recent years so they had to check in w/ them... I guess they were also "clearances" of sorts... and then when I went to visit him in April, we went to the embassy thinking it would be done, but they requested his full set of prints... now we're waiting for the FBI print check and one security clearance ... I pray this ends soon

... we want to start our lives together - khaire insha'Allah, it'll happen when its meant to happen.

the backlog is that all k-1/ k-2 petitions have been RECALLED.
10,000 someting k-1 petitioners have to submit to the requests of the RFEs.
as for domestic violence is also effects if you have been a victom. this I do worry about
being that I was a victom.

speaking of which, when I was in Pakistan I realized how common Javed was. I saw like 50 store names starting with Javed, met alot of Javeds, and when I was in Dubai they had a sign for Javed (you know one of those taxi guys holding the sign) and when I was leaving they had a sign for Javed in Karachi International Airport. Crazy how common that name is! I was suprised since i've never heard it in the U.S.A.
