I called the congressmans office. I wanted to let them know the security check cleared. I dont want nothing else to expire and we have to do this crapola all over again. here is the statigy, she will be sending an e mail to the embassy and asking them whats going on with our case, and hopefully they call in javed to tell him what stuff he needs I know the police reports expired and the medicals expired. I am guessing they have to give him a special paper to get his medical taken care of. They will check his passport see if he has six months on it etc... hopefully this crap will be done soon. the congressman said to call her in a week. hopefully we get this crap done. tired of waitng..

hmmm... i don't know what to make of my call with DOS - I s/w a lady w/ a Filipino accent - she's a bit impatient and gets annoyed when you ask q's or ask for clarification...

she said that a cable has been sent to the embassy and it's pending at the embassy now BUT it doesn't look like it's final b/c the FP results aren't in... I asked what the date of the cable sent was and first she told me it doesn't matter b/c it's not final, then seemed like she checked and said the date wasn't indicated... then when I asked if normally a final cable is marked as "final" she seemed irritated and said "believe me if it's done they'll contact him b/c they'll be glad to get a case out of the way" so I just said okay thanks....

what do you all think this means - I'm definitely not getting my hopes up... in fact, i'm a little concerned b/c if it's not "final" then what else could they want from the embassy??? maybe I should try again tomorrow and see if someone more patient would be willing to answer my questions - or maybe call the embassy in a day or two???

call them back again.. if you dont understand what hell they saying - ask someone else..

okay so I called back - got a SUPER nice lady named "Ola" (something like that)... she checked and stayed on the line w/ me for some time... she said that it didn't specifically say the prints were back but that she would assume it had b/c typically the cable would not have gone back to the embassy and as far as she could tell the clearance process was completed here in washington and it's now up to ISL for final adjudication... but she also said that it was not a clear cut response so ISL might need to do some follow up - I asked what a "not clear cut" response was and she said she couldn't say... she did also say that based on everything she saw on the different screens all seemed normal and nothing out of the ordinary.. and also that the ISL email came on the 30th, the cable was sent out at the end of last week and that ISL has only had it for two days now.... OMG I'm so nervous now... khaire insha'Allah

I am a little lost at the timeline, if the processing center recieves documents for my wife today for a K3, what kind of timing am I looking at? Thank you for your responses.

I dont know if I should be happy or be worried!!!!!!!!!!!
I have recieved a 2nd Reciept Notice (NOA1) today for K3. It has a different reciept number than the one I recieved Saturday and it indicates recieve date as July 05 2006 and Notice date as July 07, 2006, which are different dates from the dates on First NOA1. Meanwhile, I am still unable to find the status of any of the reciept numbers online. What to make of it? What should be done??????????????
Please Note: I have three reciept numbers now for K3.....

1) The reciept number they had on Rejection letter when they rejected the application and sent it to me for correction.

2) The reciept number on first NOA1.

3) The reciept number on 2nd NOA1.

Dear brother & sisters, Salam
I am very thankful to Almighty Allah, prophet Muhammad (sww) & his family that finally my wife approved today at United States embassy Islamabad for her CR1 visa as per new rules she will get the package (brown envelope) via Amex in one week (inshallah). I know it was not an easy journey for me in the beginning however after the approval I had very smooth ride. I would like to thank every individual for her/his guidance and moral support through out the process (17 months).
I will write her interview details in a later post as per her it was very simple and straightforward immigration interview.

For those who are still waiting best of luck guys everything will be all right soon.

I am very relieved and grateful to ALLAH for this day.

Thanks, yes right now I am in the process to book her seat but as you know it is summer and there is only one direct flight from Pakistan to Houston in a week so it not easy to find even ONE seat but I am hoping we will be find something.

Imran please update us when you find what airline. I want Javed to fly right into Houston.

Tips:
1) Book a seat on TOP priority basis. It usually gets approved withing few days.
2) There is no choice but PIA for a female to travel alone as the traveller dont have to swith the plane
3) Apply for her Frequesnt Flyer Program 's card through web

I use to visit Pakistan every year alhamadulliah. Since PIA started its traffic on this route I traveled at least three times for those who wants to get home in short time PIA is best however emirates has its own benefits.




Brother SL first of all thanks. It is just an ordinary mistake of USCIS don’t very everything will be alright however you need to be clam down the immigration journey is kind a slow and it has its own pace which is Unfortunately dead slow . As I told you earlier just give a week and two then call USCIS they will help U to find out which one is your receipt is correct and which one is wrong. As a matter of fact most of the time case status remains pending in USCIS until it got approved.

Congrats imran. Good luck on getting seat for your wife. PAKistan airline is good for women traveling alone. Emirates is good too. And since you stated that you have traveled so many times, i dont think anyone can give advice on good airlines, YOu should know which one is the best.

i believe and i dont want to speculate but he filed one form and then it came back cause he didnt put anything on the part where they ask if this form was filled by some one else. So he filed again.

i did not file 2 applications!!!!!!!!!!
I sent I-129F for K3 on Jun. 16th, they rejected it and sent me back the whole package, including application, pictures, all forms, check, all supporting documents, even envelope in whcich I had sent my application. (they had rejected because: I had written "N/A" in the last box, which is for signature of person who prepared the form, if other than me. To them it was considered invalid signature). They advised me to send the application back after correction.

So, on Jun. 29th, I sent the application back with correction. It included only one check, and one of each forms, pictures, and documents!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess it cannot be considered two applications. Because they wont issue two reciepts for only one check.

The check has been cashed.

I guess they issued a reciept before going to 4th of July holiday, and when they came back, and check got cashed, some one issued a new reciept. My problem is which one is my correct reciept number????? None has any status online.

Shon, I am very frustrated because of this and it is no laughing matter. I do know you have been through alot and I, and I guess everyone here appreciate your great support. Just a note: We are here to make each other feel better by supporting each other and by giving good advise. I am sure u didnt mean to LOL on me, but when a question is posted, the person asking it needs an answer not LOL. I just wanted to let you guys know that I visited the embassy recently and got to talk to a CO regarding security clearances. I have been visiting the forum and all the perceptions we have about security clearances are WRONG.

The Security clearances mentioned on the popular sites regarding Security clearances, NONE of them are usually applied to Immigrant visa petitions.

The CO and I had a detailed discussion about the security clearances and thank God I am very well informed regarding this!

The rest of the stuff I talked to a CO was about my case, but I am not going to discuss that on the forum!

Friday July 7th. the ISL embassy tried to issue the visa. and it Triggered not just ONE security check
but 4 of them byches. we already knows it takes 4 months + to clear a security check.
I guess we wont be togeather for the christmas holidays coz, 4 months from now is < nov>.
I did not tell Javed yet. this is gonna crush him. I know its crushing me.
but I am not gonna cry. not gonna cry noooo I cant cry...

Wow shon, sorry. How the hell did that happen! I thought all of your security checks were cleared!!!! What kind of BS is that, someone REALLY needs to fix this problem with security checks.
