As you may remember, our AR was done in 3 weeks and now my hubby is here with me, he got his SSN already, but He seems soooooooooooooooooo DEPRESSED after coming.

Lari your husband will be fine once he will get the job. I think it is human nature that he/she needs some time in order to adjust in a new place. America for him is totally different land besides at this point of time he is jobless as well, which is also one of main reason of getting depress. Anyway hope for the best.

Actually, i'm not Pakistani therefore I do not live in Karachi. I'm an American who visited Pakistan and went to AKU Hospital when I had an emergency. It was constructed by the Imam of the time, but i'm a shia ismaeli so it's obviously what we believe in and not you guys. And btw, i'm a bit biased but even then I went to 2-3 hospitals and they all had long ### lines and bad service (closer to home) bueore I went to AKU Hospital. Anyways my dad got his stuff done there promptly.

Thanks everyone for your concerns. Hopefully he will feel better soon. This whole journey from start to finish is so difficult.

AKU is a great hospital, no one doubts it, whether u are Ismaili or not. Unfortunately, though, AKU is not on embassy's panel.

ok when i came back from vacation in pakistan. This lady was with us who had to go through POE at chicago. I had the honor of helping her out cause she didnt speak english or could not fully converse english. Everybody understands english in pakistan. They never asked any questions, they just took her yellow packet and took her signature and then thats it. We were out. Do they usually ask quesitons from males, or is the quesitoning random.

1) It only has my first and last name, no middle name or middle initial.
2) It does not have beneficiary's name.
3) "Priority date" field is blank.
4) "ASC Code" field is blank. (What is ASC code any way?).
Please take a look at your I-129F NOA1s, and lemme know if thats normal for it?

Please try after one week or so. USCIS system doesn’t update pretty fast, you just got NOA1 give some time to USCIS before reaching to any conclusion.
If you want to receive automatic case update e.mail from USCIS in future then please register yourself.
