biggrin.gif I've been lurking around on here since January posting a few times randomly and mostly gathering information. Now that I'm on Spring Break and don't have 24 kids constantly next to me and asking me questions, I have some time to post!!!

Hans and I met when I went to teach English in Peru in 2002. We were fast friends right away, and then I went home after a week. We kept in touch with phone calls and emails, and I went back for 2 weeks the next summer. We've been engaged since Jan. 12, 2005, and we are so ready to be together. After almost 4 years of being apart, we are ready to be together and married.

Both our families are very supportive of our relationship, and he has had no problems with anyone in his family being mad that he is moving here.

Well, that's us. If you want to know anything else, like for example, how monkey and guinea pig taste, let me know!

If you need any additional info about the process in Peru, just let me know. There are a few other active posters that went through Peru as well.

Welcome to VJ and good luck.
I don't think I'd like to know how a monkey or guinea pig tastes, but I'd like to ask you what your experience was like teaching in Peru.
