In the I129F instructions it says: When a check is drawn on the account of a person other than yourself, write your name on the face of the check.
Other than that it should not be a problem. As YuAndDan said, as long as the amount is right and its made out to DHS and they can cash it that they will care. I doubt they will look for your name to be written on the check. Might be more of an issue if the check is cashed but your petition eventually gets lost.

Should be fine as long as it is made out to "Department of Homeland Security" and has the correct $$ amount.
They dont care who's checking account is paying for it.
