what I want to see though is that they are working on July I-129F's. I've given up on being there for my b'day on 27th jan...hoping for a march arrival.

When it shows that they are working on July, your SO will probably already be here. Don't pay any attention to those dates. They are way ahead of the date that they are showing.

The date(s) shown on the USCIS 'processing times' page/site is referring to the Oldest petitions they are currently processing - you'd think it would show the most recent, but that is how they operate. Most people don't have to pay attention to these dates unless they've filed on/around them. whistling.gif

I was wondering about that as we filed (and received) our NOA1 in April .. Looking at the timelines, they've processed right up to the week before us .. but now it appears that they've stopped as its been two weeks since there were any updates on the folks around us.

if you look at your time says august 13th if you have no RFE's then that is pretty accurate mine was i received mine with in a day but honestly i think this is the easy part not worried about the medical but am worried about the interview knowing one person has your whole life in their hands Please god help her pass

They lie. The timelines on VJ are more accurate.

They don't "lie" per se - they just cover. They give the longer-side approximation of things to give themselves room to process and to try to stem the tide of panicked phone calls. . . . .

That'd be more comforting if my date didn't move every time I checked. CSC has ground to a halt, so the estimated dates keep getting further and further out. I'm at day 101. My estimated date puts me around day 120. They seem to be slowly sinking under the weight of the bureaucracy.

Okay, a lie is when you don't tell the truth. What they give is a half-truth; same thing in my opinion.
If you ask me when my birthday is and I say "September", I'm not really lying. How old am I?
Sorry, couldn't leave well enough alone. I work for the feds so I know all the tricks and loop-holes. Complacency kills.

Yeah, I would agree that their estimated dates are listed with the oldest date they are currently processing. Its kindof backwards, but not suprising...
