Thank you for the thought and reminder - I remember reading in a Buddhist book written by a lama that instead of praying just for yourself or your loved ones it is best to pray for all sentient beings, since by definition you are including yourself and your loved ones in that prayer - so instead of just praying for me and G I will pray for everyone who is going through the visa process and is separated from their beloved.
