Am I doing this "touch" thing right? Different date on case update referes to a touch?
Take a look at my time line:
1st NOA 7/9/07.....
1st touch: 7/14/07 (saturday morning around midnight)...Does CSC work on cases around the clock?
2nd touch 7/17/07 while pending an RFE 7/13/07 (not yet recieved)

Does a touch reflect any actual processing or only review of the file? Why even bother with review/touch if the case is pending RFE?

wish i knew an answer for you...or better yet i wish i was getting "touched" as much as you... ...i havent gotten a touch since may30th...and my stuff was sent the 18th of may!!!!

My case was also 'touched' on Saturday but that was the date that I registered for their online service, so I'm assuming that's what caused it.

Touches do not necessarily mean action on your case. It could mean the file was moved from one place to another. Some people never receive a touch before their petition is approved. Our petition never received a touch and our approval came four months after submission. I'm not so sure I would get all wrapped up in whether or not one receives a touch or not.

I've seen some people get touches late at night, on weekends and even holidays.
