1. Can't use fast reply ( only add reply )
2. Can't use pm or look at profiles.
3. VJ smileys have disappeared.
4. All my posts and topics have disappeared when I look at my profile I can't see them.
I don't get an error message or anything, the page or reply box just won't come up.
A Dell tech talked me through several steps and then an AOL tech. Neither could figure out the problem.
I talked about 1 1/2 to them.
It started when I deleted temporary files and cookies unless the timing was a coincedent.
I restored and went back to default etc, and nothing helps.
What may be the problem and how can I fix it ?
I don't know much about computers at all.

Have you tried firefox and internet explorer both?

Log out of VJ, clear all cookies and internet cache and then log back into VJ.
Get a nice little app that will clean out all the junk for you, CCleaner (Crap Cleaner), Google it.

Captain Ewok,
with aol browser and IE. It has worked fine ever since I first came to VJ a year ago. Now after I cleaned files out
and deleted cookies it is messed up. I don't have firefox. If it worked before then it should work now.
It just puzzles me to no end.

Sometimes your browser caches an old style sheet. A hard refresh should fix it. Checking another browser is always a good reference as well.
