...who might not frequent the UK forum (this is slightly double-posted, but forgive me, it's time sensitive too)

The love of my life opened the not-to-be-opened envelope despite warnings (accident/misunderstanding). Not an end of the world problem, but we need to send it back to the Embassy (can't just hand-carry it in to London Embassy from what we understand). Does anyone know if when he sends it back via the courier, he needs to send back the PASSPORT AND envelope/contents, or just the envelope/contents?

Any help ASAP appreciated! Thanks all!

nevermind - fiance called the UK based information line (the overpriced one) and a supposedly confident sounding man said just use the same delivery service that brought it (SMS), pay for delivery and return, no other fees necessary, to send back the envelope. Keep the passport. So that's what we'll do. Hope the phone guy was right.
