The embassy sent out a second letter to my fiance asking for a 1040 form and an affidavit of support. When she read it to me, I thought it was the same as the first one so I called the embassy. As it turns out, they are asking me for a joint sponser

and they said that a joint interview was my best bet to prove the relationship is real. Also, they want her to get a more 'up to date' copy of her birth cert (even though hers was issued within the last few years) The copy of her birth cert isn't a problem but I am going to have to take a trip back home next month. That's not even the worst part, the next available date for a joint interview is sometime next year, so i'm not even guaranteed a spot if I go. Then there's still the issue of a joint sponser. I'm still debating if I should go for it or if I should just wait until next summer. At least then I'll have graduated from my Radiography program ( I wouldn't need a joint sponser) and there wouldn't be any time restraints (I only have a 2 week break next month)
Will keep you all posted
