hi guys! we are really confused. we already got a letter from NVC that our papers are forwarded to my country's embassy. i understand that my fiance will now have to prepare for the affidavit of support. my question is, where he will get that forms needed to fill-out for the affidavit of support? how will he know what are the documents to send to me as affidavit of support?

please helpsmilie.gif thanks.

babesprincess,

You can get the forms for this and nearly everything else marriage-based-visa-related here on VJ's Download section and/or HERE.

The instructions on the I-134 is the best place to start when it comes to "What documents to send" as it varies from person to person. There are also Forum/Threads dedicated to this subject that will help.

A note that is often helpful is that if the sponsor's income is sufficient, they can simply leave blank all sections of the I-134 that pertain to assets or life insurance etc. Make sure to provide documentation of income. Regardless of the form's requirements the Consular officer can ask for more documentation. The best practice is to include three years of tax transcripts, current pay stubs and an employer letter, if possible.
