Hi all,

I saw someone here mentioned off and on about the possibility of applying for citizenship after his/her 3 years anniversary. Can someone direct me to the gov site where it is stating the rule for this please. Greatly appreciated.

Have a good day all.

cheers

The information you are looking for is in the Guide to Naturalization. Here is the link to the Guide: http://www.uscis.gov/files/article/M-476.pdf. The information begins on page 17 - the checklist. Good luck good.gif

if you have been married to the same us citizen, you can apply 90 days before the 3 year anniversary of your initial green card. otherwise it is 5 years.
