Hi,

I have submitted 3 IV Fee checks to NVC last month.
I recently got a letter from NVC stating that my Checks were rejected due to some reason.

The letter did not contained any checks.
So where will be the checks...? Are they still with NVC or they are lost somewhere during transport of the letter.

Also there were suppose to be 3 IV Bills attached but I recieved only 2 Bills (Previously I got 3 Bills).

Thanks,
Sagar.

Hi jarl,
Thanks for your advise.
I tried calling them but the lines were continuosly giving All Operators busy message.
I have mailed NVC regarding the same and awaiting their reply.
Do you know how long do they take generally to reply such inquiries.

Thanks ,
Sagar.

What type of check did you send?

They only accept US money orders or cashier's checks to my knowledge. Call again later even though you sent email.

That's exactly what I thought. If they're personal checks they won't accept them, you have to send a cashier's check or money order that you can get at any grocery store or even the USPS.

Hi All,

The checks that i submitted where cashier's checks itself.
My only concern is whereabouts of the checks ?
I dont know where are those checks at this point of time.
Are they with NVC or they have sent back and I haven't recieved them.

Regards,
Sagar.

You can try to contact the agency that issued the cashier's check to find out if it was redeemed, I hope you kept the receipt because that is the only way you can get a refund on the previous ones. I know for the USPS you have to wait 60 before you can file an inquiry regarding the lost/stolen money order.

Also, did you make sure to send the payment to the correct address? The payment has to be sent to St. Louis, not New Hampshire.

Hi,
I have inquired that the checks are not yet cleared or cashed.
Now they say that only if they get confirmation that they are lost you can create an application for lost/stolen.
But here we are not aware whether the checks are lost or still with NVC.
So I have mailed NVC regarding this.
But yet not recieved any response by them till now.
Do you know how many days it takes approximately to recieve a response to mail.

Thanks,
Sagar.

i am sorry to hear what happened to u...
NVC is currently taking a little longer responding to e-mail inquiries...in the past few months, they would reply 3-5 days but now i receive responses after 7-14 days...

the best way u can do is to call them...so that can have the information u want right away...call at 7:30 am est...u will get thru easily...
