IM TRYING TO BE PATIENT..NOT EASY.... .......NOW IM ALSO WORRIED ABOUT THE AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT...I WORK AS A REDIDENTIAL MANAGER IN MANHATTAN NEW YORK...I AM GIVEN A 2 BEDROOM APARTMENT IN WHICH SHE WILL COME WITH HER SON...I MAKE ABOUT 55K A YEAR AND ANOTHER 10-13K IN TIPS AROUND CHRISTMAS TIME...I HAVE A MORTGAGE FOR A CONDO I OWN IN NEW JERSEY...IT WILL BE RENTED OUT AND ALMOST COMPLETELY PAY ITSELF OFF...MY WORRY IS THAT I READ SOMEWHERE THAT THE MINIMUM A PERSON CAN MAKE WHEN PUTTING A PETITION THROUGH IS 77K...IS THIS TRUE

Byron, you'll be fine. There are many, many couples here who have sent in K1s after days of meeting. As long as you can prove a bonafide and ongoing relationship, USCIS won't deny your petition. They're not concerned about the length of time behind a relationship as long as you can prove that it's genuine.

NOA2s take time and you just need to hang tight and stay patient.

Yeah, definitely more waiting to do for NOA2. Be aware that the Vermont Service Center is taking longer than usual to process K1s...and there's another topic for those of us from VSC still waiting!

Make sure you use the income for household of 3 since she is bringing her son. Sounds like you have the income requirements met though. Good luck.
