1) The key word is "current".

2) Do you have an income tax return reporting your 2007 income?

Thank You Yodrak,

so I need to put 2006 income tax return. I was thinking for current mean what ever i earned on my paystub because we also need to attach our 3 pay stubs. that what confused me .Thanks alot.
Yodrak
Asif,

I sense that you may still be confused.
- for Q23: your current income is you latest paycheck, extrapolate it out for 1 year (excluding any bonus or OT pay).
- for Q25: tax years 2006, 2005, and 2004

Asif,

You can figure out your current salary based on your paychecks, whether you're paid by the hour, weekly or monthly, just do the necessary math.

ANSWER: It asks for your current annual income, not most recent year's full income. Check your most recent pay stub and calculate your annual income based on your current wage.

2) Also, for question 25

Tax year

Most recent

ANSWER: Have you filed for 2007's tax return? Definitely, you have not. What is the most recent tax year? It is 2006.

Thank you All,
For clearing out my confusion,
So for Q23:
lets say I get payed 20 and hour;

20*40=800
800*4=3200

3200*12=38,400

This is Current income I get for this 2007; this is without the OT.

AS IF RIGHT NOW MY PAY STUB SHOWS ME 19,200

i BELIVE i NEED TO PUT 38,400 ON THE QUESTION 23.

i DID NOT INCULDE ANY OT. IF I ADD OT IT COMES TO HUGE NUMBER.
Yodrak
ASIF,

You cheated yourself - $20 x 2080 = $41,600 (If using your method, recognize that there are more than 4 weeks in all months except February)

Yes, Yodrak is right. Assuming you are working full time, you expect to work 2,080 hours (8*5*52) for the year. So if you make $20 per hour, then your expected salary for this year is:

2,080*20 = $41,600

$41,600 is your current income based on your current wage. Therefore, enter this amount as your current income. This amount is good enough for I-864. Do not worry about adding OT.
Asif
Yes guys thanks alot again
