i filed an I-129f petition for my canadian boyfriend in may. we sent it from canada and uscis told me today that the first notice of action was sent to my mom in indiana on may29. she has not received anything. i'm guessing that one month mail time is way too long....??

I would call and make sure they have the address right. If they do ask them to send a new copy.

Don't worry about it too much. We didn't get an NOA1 at all, even though the website says it was sent. We ended up calling the USCIS and spoke to a lovely lady who gave us the information we needed. I'd say give them a call and explain that you haven't received the NOA1. They will be able to give you the receipt number for you to check the progress of your case online. Alternatively, if you sent a cheque and it has been cashed, your number will be on the back.
Good luck!

My check was cashed in mid april and I never heard anything either.
Last time I called they gave me my WAC number (back of check was blurry).
I think they are just sloppy sending on No1

I sent our application on May 14th, the check was cashed on May 23rd & I still haven't received anything in the mail either. I called USCIS to get the receipt number. They show that the NOA1 was sent on May 25th. From what I understand, the only thing you really need from the NOA1 is the receipt number...I hope that's a little comforting, I know how unnerving it is not to receive mail you are running to the mail box to look for! Good Luck!

Ktjett,
We're in Ireland and also had notice on the USCIS website that our NOA1 was supposed to have been sent on the same day! What a coincidence!
Good luck!
