Can't find the old thread about the May 3 approvals who were waiting the dang hard copies of approval notices (tried search and google, though I'm sure someone else will find it!).
I got home today to find the hard copy of the NOA2 in the mailbox. It arrived a quick 2 months and 4 days after we were approved on May 3 and the day after my fiance had his interview at the London Embassy. Better late than never!
I had tried the "RFE" shortcut to speak to a CSC staffer at the beginning of June (after 30 days elapsed after approval), but nothing came. I finally gave a quick call to my congresswoman's office to see if they could help (mainly because I was scared of facing not just AOS fee increases, but an extra $200 for a "replacement" copy of a document I'd never received to begin with!). And that same day, fwaguy (I think) posted a link to a document published by USCIS fessing up to the computer snafu that left a lot of May approvals without hard copies. I used the email there to send a note saying "what's up?"
I got a call last week from the congressional office saying they heard back from USCIS that the notice was resent on June 27 - which would make sense with today's delivery. So who knows what finally made it mail out, but it's here now, so that's cool.
