I have to add that our file was returned all together in a ACCO fastener and they got as far as endorsing our check. Fortunately, we were able to resend the the newer I-751 version by post today. That just goes to show you...make sure you send in the latest version regardless of expiration date.
Now the countdown begins all over again and it's a race between USCIS and the State Dept...today, we sent in our daughter's paperwork for a passport, as well. I'm betting my husband will get his green card before the dauhter's passport. Wanna bet?
