I got the NOA 2 aproval letter in mail , yeahhhhhhh, but got a question I thought that it had to go to NVC first , on the aproval it sais I 129f the above petition has been aproved and forwarded to the listed consulate , so am I right that the petition is on its way to Montreal now ?
and it got an expire date valid from 28 june 07 till 28 oct 07 , knowing that it most likely will take longer to get an interview in montreal , will this petition realy expire while the process is pending in montreal ? thanks for the response Lona

Congrats!!! Don't worry about it expiring. It won't be any fault of your own and the consulate will extend it. As far as being forwarded to consulate before going to NVC...I can't explain that. Are you sure that the letter that you received wasn't from the NVC?
Congratulations on the approval. Claudeth's went to the NVC where they assigned her case number and then they forwarded the package to Manila.
