I starting getting text message at 5 am from the hubby... I guess he FINALLY got the ticket.. It was on layaway..lol BUT ALHAMDULILLAH he finally got it in his hand... 6 days left till i see him!

you would think I would be in a mad dash to clean and re organise the house.. BUT i'm not.. actually I have this I-could-care-less attitude... Is that bad??

Anyone good at interior design??? My "den" / kids room doesnt flow at all... and I have no idea where to shift / move everything around

I just got outta bed....sofyan should have left for work over 4 hours ago but is still sleeping.....Im waiting for my niece and nephew to get here....Im taking Hamudeh to get a new bike, and Sara a new dress....I always tell their mom to leave the spoiling to me, and thats what i do...well i better get my butt in gear....

hello all! went and started weight wathcers today. goal is to loose 20 pounds by the wedding on 9/22. dont think i will have any prob doing that. today is my baby brothers wedding and i wont be there bc it is too expensive for airline tickets. nothing else today. it is gloomy out. guess i will be watching movies and cleaning. i will be forced to stay home and relax.

reda got a job yesterday. it was the first application he turned in. he will start working at mcdonalds on monday. not much of a job, but it is a start and hopefully this will make him more confident in his english skills and then he can move onto something else.

ahhhh...today would be a good day to give the dog a bath. what a chore!

mornin!! so 10 more days til i fly out today will go shoppin, cause we didnt make it there yesterday. then i will pick Dae up and he will be here until the end of next week, lol i have to figure out how to pack around a 6yr old little boy and his psp games and wires and stuff lol....it should go smoothly.

im starting to get a cold today....how crappy is that! i got 9 days or less to kick that!! ughhhhh. alright off to load the dishwasher and clean the counter....

i still have to make my recipe cards! does anyone have a really good recipe for the garlic sauce used for chicken and stuff??? i am addicted and know it isnt hard but i want to write it down.

I'm finishing my coffee and then I'm going to tape a rotten vacuum hose in my car to get me through till I have the replacement. Then I'll pick up hubby from work and we'll go out looking for some cheap fun. Happy Saturday, everyone.

I'm going to the farmers market shortly to get some fresh veggies. I don't know what I got into yesterday, but I started breaking out in hives and now my eyes are starting to swell up. As much medicine that I've taken, I should be fine. I'm starting to look like Rocky!

I wish there was an IKEA around here. Nearest store to me is in Chicago. I think I need to get my dads truck and have a little road trip!

i've been busy trimming trees so i can mow with the riding mower and not have to dodge leaves and branches. got the front yard done after 3 hours. i figure another 12 and i'll have the back done

at home again with nunya to do. supposed to go out job hunting since hubster thinks my original job may now be too far away. I'm having a hard time with it coz the only other pharmacies nearby are big chain stores and i refuse to work for them (yes, still) and he just does NOT understand my reasoning for it. I'm slowly learning to fake a positive attitude as i hate my life more and more each day. I'm just waiting for him to say that we can go home. Maybe I just need some friends... or maybe duct tape his mouth/hands and tie him to the seat in the car and start driving naah i can't do that... anyway...I hope you all are having a great weekend!

Slept until noon today and feel like a slug. Oh well, what can you do? My big goals for the day are to go to the gym and go grocery shopping. We're currently surviving on canned food lol.

I slept till noon today, not a good way to get things in the house done. So, with a late start to the day, I cleaned some and then went to the market to get fresh veggies and fruit. That only put me further behind. Then I had to take my father back home and stop at the store for buns and things for a bbq dinner. Got home and logged onto yahoo to discover that I had missed my hubby by mere seconds. He logged out just as I logged in. Called him only to find out that the cafe' had closed and he had waitied for me for over 2 hours.
Jess, hope all goes well with the move, and yes you have to keep in touch to let us know how everything in Saudi is going.

Got out of the house, went to the mall to get a new backpack for my youngest for camp, then got my dad some ratpack cd's for his b-day.

Then it started....................my daughter wanted to download a new ringtone on her new phone that i got from ebay and she couldn't find the media net thing that you go to to get it. I took it and looked at it, googled a few things and found out the stupid thing is loaded with software compatable for people living in the UK. I'm thinking, ok, I was an engineering major for 2 1/2 years, how hard can this be, right? 4 hours later I still can't figure out how to change it. UGH. I joined two nerdy message boards, scanned them for help got hit with like 5 huge brick walls and then begged for help on each. I"m hoping someone will take pity on me soon and send me very userfriendly step by step guidelines.

btw NEVER buy a cellphone from ebay.

I wish that I could help you, but I have learned that I am technology afflicted. When I was setting up my first computer, it kept asking me to do something on the desk-top, I had no clue what to do since I had no desk, just an old kitchen table. I had to buy the computers for dummies book to find out that the desk top was actually the screen!

yeah... I gotta say something is in the stars!!.. EVERYBODY I know is in this Errrr mood.. every one is telling me they feel weird

Well I am having a great Saturday but I also slept in today. Then went and helped a man that is like my dad move things, then went to lunch and since we where going to go to the grocery store when I got the call that he needed help we went to the store after we were done. Then came home gave the dog her bath so that I could put her flee medicine on, and well my husband found out today when I was cleanign beofre we left that he can't vaccuum the dog. She was choking and gagging and he felt really bad, I told him that she is good that she doesn't like the noise and it scares her. So he said he will just brush her 2 times a day outside.

It was a great day! When Mohammed came home from work, he took me out to dinner to celebrate our 5th anniversary of meeting each other .....awwwwwwwwwwww

After the food settled, we went for a bike ride. We are so out of shape. Watched a little COPS and now hubby is in his office chatting on the phone with Amal's hubby. I swear they are like women when they get together! What are they talking about Amal? Can you understand them?

I slept all day. Its the only thing that I can do to keep my sane and wont make me feel anxious THINKING THINKING of the day my hubby abd I are together at last. I cant wait to post the dipsticks approved thread. I hope and God willing that that day will come soon!

It would NEVER occur to me to vacuum a dog!!!! Interesting idea lol... but I'm not surprised it didn't work out. My cat is freaked out by the vacuum cleaner too. It's the only thing that scares her.

Glad I'm not the only one who slept in! Of course now I can't sleep.

I cleaned out my freezer this afternoon and way in the back I found an unopened box of girl scout thin mints! Its almost like I won the lottery! (hey, what can I say, I am easy to please.... )
